Hot Chicken and Waffle Sliders


  • 4 cups Pepe's Chicharrones, crushed

  • 1 pint Vanilla ice cream (low carb)

  • 4 Eggs

  • Chocolate syrup

  • 1/4 cup Powdered sugar or sweetener

  • Oil For frying


  1. Scoop ice cream into small balls and freeze for 30-60 minutes.

  2. Heat oil in deep fryer or heavy skillet to 375°F.

  3. Set up a dredging station with two bowls — crushed pork rinds in one and beaten eggs in the other.

  4. Coat each ice cream ball in pork rinds, submerge in egg wash and coat in pork rinds again.

  5. Fry ice cream balls for 30 seconds or until golden brown.

  6. Top fried ice cream balls with chocolate syrup and powdered sugar or sweetener and serve immediately.
